Reasons for absence – the incapacity challenge

IN THIS MODULE:

• A group brainstorming session on permitted absence.
• The “Incapacity Challenge” – a fun card game reflecting different view points people have toward sickness.
• A summary activity identifying key factors that can affect absence within a team.

AIMS:

• Recognise common factors which can affect the frequency and duration of absence.
• Illustrate a number of viewpoints people have towards sickness.

Time:

35 minutes.

Group Size:

Up to 12 people.

Those with management responsibility.
