IN THIS MODULE:

  • A catch-and-throw activity to get delegates thinking about what they have learned so far in the course and where their strengths and weaknesses lie.
  • The “Developing Skills” card game where delegates assess each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • The creation of a 6-12 month development plan for each delegate.

AIMS:

  • To identify your learning and skills used during the modules.
  • To create a development plan.

Time:

This exercise will take approximately 1 hour.

Group Size:

12 people.

USEFUL FOR:

Staff of all levels.

YOU’ll NEED:

  • Trainer pack and handouts – optional PowerPoint included.
  • A soft ball – you will need to provide this.
  • Sticky tack – you will need to provide this.
  • Flipchart paper – you will need to provide this.
  • “Developing Skills” activity cards – a basic, printable PDF version is included with “training materials only” or select “training materials plus activity cards” to receive a professionally printed set through the post.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This module brings together all of the skills learned in the previous Independent Thinking modules, therefore, this should only be delivered if some previous modules from this training course have been delivered first.

These training materials are for independent or in-house trainers, HR who have some experience delivering training – we offer the same materials for mangers and facilitators who has less experience delivering and preparing training.
