Coaching in practice

IN THIS MODULE:

This module utilises all of the knowledge gained in each of the previous coaching skills modules and allows delegates to begin to conducting real coaching sessions.

AIMS:

To illustrate a coaching scenario using all the skills covered.

Time:

2 hours (approx).

Group Size:

Ideally, 4-16 people per session. Training Materials are reusable.

USEFUL FOR:

Those with management responsibility.

YOU’ll NEED:

• Trainer pack and handouts – optional PowerPoint included.
• A dressing up box – items of clothing, hats, glasses, hair accessories (wigs/beards?) to assist with the role play – this is optional, but we think it adds to the fun of the session!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This exercise requires delegates to have completed all of the previous coaching skills modules. However, this can be used as a template format if you are running your own course as a way to summarise the day, but it will need to be edited to fit your own content.
