IN THIS MODULE:

  • “Your Worst Scenario” exercise – an activity designed to highlight the different situations that each person might find difficult.
  • The “Difficult Situation” card game – an engaging task that can be role-played to demonstrate how to approach a variety of challenges with staff.

AIMS:

To create strategies and practical techniques for dealing with difficult coaching issues.

Time:

40 minutes.

Group Size:

Ideally, 4-16 delegates per session.

USEFUL FOR:

These training materials are primarily designed for those with management responsibility, however, they could also be useful for someone who is taking on coaching/mentoring as part of their job role

  • Trainer pack and handouts – available in downloads.
  • “Difficult Situation” activity cards – PDF version included with training materials only (you will need to print) or receive professionally printed set in the post by selecting training materials plus activity cards.
