About

IN THIS MODULE:

  • An introductory task on the importance of perception using examples such as the invention of the telephone and the first films with audio.
  • An optical illusion to prove that what we see is not always reality.
  • An exercise using the ‘Six Thinking Hats’ technique by Edward De Bono.

AIMS:

  • To recognise how perception influences your thinking.
  • To learn how to develop and change perceptions and perspective.

Time:

This exercise should take approximately 1 hour; however, this module contains an extra exercise to practice a thinking technique introduced in this session. If you choose to do this optional extra exercise you should allow an extra 30 minutes.

Group Size:

12 people.
