IN THIS MODULE:
- A group discussion ranking the most important motivating factors.
- A short group activity learning about the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
- An interactive exercise applying the hierarchy of needs to a set of given scenarios.
AIMS:
To identify the factors that affect motivation and apply this in a coaching context.
Time:
This exercise will take approximately 1 hour, but there is plenty of opportunity for extended discussion which could increase the duration by a further 30 minutes.
Group Size:
Ideally, 4-16 delegates per session. Materials are reusable.
USEFUL FOR:
These training materials are primarily designed for those with management responsibility, however, they could also be useful for someone who is taking on coaching/mentoring as part of their job role.
