Recruitment & selection full course (managers)

These recruitment and selection skills training course materials are designed for anyone who needs knowledge of the recruitment and selection process. They provide tips, ideas and will develop learners confidence to ask the right questions, structure the interview and take an objective approach to assessing different candidates. These are among the many skills managers, team leaders or anyone else who deals with recruitment need to develop if they are to feel confident and competent when recruiting.

2. The recruitment process (1 hour, 30 minutes)
3. Treating people fairly (1 hour)
4. Recruitment advertising (1 hour)
5. The interview (1 hour, 30 minutes)
6. Interview questions (2 hours)
7. Listening and note taking (1 hour)
8. Job adverts (30 minutes)
9. Shortlisting using a person specification (1 hour, 30 minutes)
10. Interview in action (2 hours)
11. Making the job offer (1 hour)
12. Problem interviewees (30 minutes)
13. Test your knowledge (30 minutes)

This course provides approximately 2-3 full (6 hour) days training material. Timings are approximate and activity time can be extended if certain topics need to be covered in more detail. The course material allows you to break up the course into smaller chunks so half-day or bite-size (1-2 hour) sessions can be delivered.
